Aesthetically strong identity and highly regarded brand that makes employees proud and passionate about working for Loewe. Just the name of the brand gets employees' loyalty. The brand is trendy right now so growth and numbers are organically healthy. The company gets a lot of traction and awareness from the good performance of Loewe fashion and its creative director. Most employees are Spanish, who are generally kind people.
Cons
Constant changes of strategic direction making every departments' operation uneven and inefficient, rework being the daily bread and keeping stress level high at all times. Inexperienced people in positions of high power who grew with the sudden fast growth of the brand, making mentorship and expertise from the top down non existent. Terrible management of human capital, everybody is overworked and have had several medical burn-outs in different teams. A key metric is that most of the outstandingly good people last a short time in the company and leave quickly, while there are people in the same position for 7, 10, 12 years. Career plans don't exist. Most employees are women (around 70%), however within top management positions the proportion is inverted and only 30% are women.
