      Upper management with no real clue what a disaster they're creating.

      Pros

      It inspired me to return back to school to finish my degree and never work in the food industry again.

      Cons

      There are by far more cons to working here than pros. Upper management does not care about any of their subordinates, you are viewed merely as a number. I have seen this company screw over many colleagues in the name of profits. Many times raises, and wages are withheld or promised like a carrot on a stick. If you are thinking of working here, expect bad hours, bad pay, high expectations with no reward, stress, burnout, and regret.

      Dedicated team members including baristas, waitstaff, line cooks, and prep staff who work hard and support each other Staff often try to maintain a positive atmosphere despite challenges Opportunity to gain experience in multiple roles due to staffing needs

      Heavy micromanagement from ownership in daily operations Expectations and tasks frequently change without clear communication Favoritism toward certain underperforming employees Communication from leadership can be belittling or delivered through raised voices Cash purchases made for the company were not reimbursed Medical bills related to a workplace injury were not paid while employed “We’re like family” messaging used while professional boundaries and accountability were lacking Inconsistent direction and shifting plans from ownership
