Pros

Good product, was once a good brand name in its industry, profitable niche market, had some very knowledgeable staff.

Cons

Arrogant foolhardy CEO that doesn’t understand the market and listens to nobody, slowly driving key staff away. An arogent condisending bully for CFO (fired from his former employer for similar behaviour) whos only strength is he knows how to play the owners aversion to risk, but nobody else respects, he’s lost alnost his entire accounts department team. A gready owner who restricts resources in a foolhardy attempt to maximise profits, who’s a poor judge of character. The sales team is not valued, consistently undermined, seldom support and considered fools by upper management, Resulting in a mass exodus of over 60% of good knowledgeable experienced staff in less than 24 months. Most sales staff snapped up by competition who do understand their value. Only those too old or who have been in the company too long to be able to leave will soon remain. Can the company survive? They are now losing good distributors due to lack of support. This is only going to get worse.

Pros

Some of the people are great, helpful and wanting to make it a better place to work but alas it falls on deaf ears.

Cons

Poor morale, senior management have no people skills, inability to change, belittling of staff is common. Unprofessional interaction between senior management and not willing to listen to staff who are experienced and knowledgeable. Mistrust of distributors, arrogance that the staff and distributors need Permastore more than Permastore needs them.

Pros

Great ground staff people (although most have left). Steady job, and the office is modernised well from what it was. The product is solid too.

Cons

The CEO, CFO and board of directors are arrogant and will not listen to you. Their pay structure for staff including yearly raises and bonuses is like a giant slap in the face. You'd never get a mortgage on a salary here unless you act like the directors. There are people in positions who either have no right to be there or are so difficult to work with, its misinterpreted as "leadership". That thing called training is practically non existent, no matter how much people try to change that, it'll forever go nowhere. It's a sad state of affairs as back in the old days it was a descent place to work.
