Ample resources provided to staff to offer a quality education and learning environment.

Cons

Great mission statement, some difficulty executing. Perry Township claims to empower students academically, socially, and behaviorally . From my point of view, the push to meet certain academic goals is taking too much of a priority over the social and behavioral needs of the students.

- Amazing work colleagues - The administration is dedicated to continuous learning for themselves as well as staff members - The buildings are well-maintained - The schools have a uniquely diverse community from others in the Indy area - Pay is competitive in-state

Cons

- Required professional development each week, often in the form of presentations without substantial time for personalization and application - At the high school level, block scheduling may force you to have occasional days without any built-in prep time - Student body contains a high percentage of EL learners; not an inherent issue, but made it difficult to differentiate and plan appropriate strategies without having to take a training course outside of normal work hours. - My class sizes averaged around 28 - 30 students each class period.
