Pros

Working with the animals was the best. I liked the people I worked with and most of the managers were super nice. We tried to make it fun and joyful, but had to hide that so we didn't get into trouble from the executive director.

Cons

I just can't with the crazy expectations. Our managers tried to reward us and treat us nice because they knew we weren't getting paid very much money. I could barely pay rent and my bills with my paycheck. The managers are mostly nice, but the top executive is hardley ever there and doesn't set a good example at all. Alot of people are leaving because she isn't very nice and she picks on people and bullys them.

Pros

You get to see animals

Cons

Their employees are severely overworked and the volunteers get treated with the utmost disrespect. Management team is wildly incompetent. They do not care about the animals or their people, just for money.
