Pros

Free coffee and a Mac laptop to work on

Cons

Just about everything ... The CEO is the most disrespectful person I've ever worked for. He never added me to the company's healthcare. He forgets EVERYTHING and he knows this so he doesn't email much. Instead he calls you and then it's your word against his. For example, he changed my salary during the pandemic without notice. When I looked at my bank statement and saw the difference I asked him if there had been a mistake and he said I was insane because he was certain he called me to talk about it. I'm sure that's a conversation I'd remember. I then asked him to stop being disrespectful, stop calling me and keep our conversations strictly email so I could have proof of everything going forward. Right before the lockdown started, my intern asked if she had to come in the next day and I told her not to because even I was going to start working from home. The CEO told me I was "paranoid" for wanting to work from home and that he was only going to allow me to work from home for one day because he wanted me in the following week. By this point, almost every company was working from home so I quickly understood that he didn't care about his employees health or their families well being. He then proceeded to scream at me at the top of his lungs, so much that his entire face turned red, because I told my intern not to come in the following day. While I was working from home he sent everyone an email saying that our office building was shutting down so we would have to work from home due to COVID. Turns out I wasn't paranoid after all. He was also charging me taxes on two different states and I had no knowledge of this because to this day he has never given me a single pay stub. As far as the shoes for Bernardo 1946 , they're over priced and low quality (the lining of my $300 boots ripped after two months) luckily I got them for free because I was an employee but I feel bad for customers that think they're buying good quality product. Honestly, I could write an essay about the horrors and injustice of working for this company but I think if you're still reading this you get the gist.

Pros

There's nothing positive to say about this company. It's a sweatshop where the micromanaging CEO functions as an HR person which means you'll have to deal with him directly if you don't get paid or whatever negative happens.

Cons

They hired me as a staff so I worked hard to prove myself sometimes until 3am. After 2 weeks, the CEO said he likes the work I did, but he had to lay me off to save money and he never paid me. Make sure to collect proof you worked there like screenshots of the imagery, social media, emails exchanged, etc. You can sue the company through a small claims court and get paid eventually.
