Pros

If you are looking to be micro managed and want to work for company stuck in the past , go for it. They have a nice 401K but thats about it.

Cons

Petro hunt is a company that will suck the joy of of you. Everything needs to be updated or upgraded to say the least. They like to micro managed the employees ( managers and HR- be very careful about HR). There is no room for growth, employees do not get promoted . You can see an employee doimg the same thing over and over for the past 20 years , yet they will look outside for a new hire who will get his training from the employee who deserved that job better, Some managers do not know what they are doing so it will be a waste of your time to go to them if you need answers. The management team is very condescending and is The HR puppet. HR has eyes everywhere, most employees are salary but every one has to fob in and fob out and GOD forbid if you are even 5 min late , you have to make up for it. you do not have sick time, and pto is 2 or 3 weeks,So when you are sick , you car break down , you have to take time out of your pto. If you lose a family member ( son , father or mother) they only give you 3 days to take care of things and you have to get back to work. there is no training , and they don't want to invest on their employees to get the appropriate training, Lunch and parking are not free! they take it out of your paycheck and lunch is only 45 min. everything is timed. at one point it will look like your manager only worries about the hours you came in versus the actual productivity.

Pros

Great training. Definitely learn time management and delegation of projects. Professional oil and gas engineers to help optimize production with out push back. They will listen to your ideas and let you know if it a good or bad idea, and give you a reason with out judgement.

Cons

Only one I can think of is that people get hired and they stay. Not much room for moving up
