      Most positions are hourly Low pay How fast you reply to a client is monitored No flexibility when working from home Wait long time for insurance Only sales get commission, not the staff that supports them.

      Pros

      Working for Phillip Jeffries is an interesting experience. You rarely find a global company that has a mentality of a start up. The company genuinely cares about creating an enjoyable atmosphere as well as making sure that people are able to grow in the company. The company itself is very centered on growth. The company has ambitious goals to grow a certain percentage each year and this pushes everyone to find new innovative ways to make that happen, whether that be new technology, product, or strategies. PJ from a design perspective is always creating new and innovative product, while not ignoring our roots of grasscloth. Flat out the greatest company I have worked for.

      Cons

      The company is constantly growing and since it is constantly growing new approaches need to be taken and sometimes they do not work out. It is always addressed once it is realized that it is not working, but in the time period that it is not working out can be very stressful.

      Good company, questionable actions

      Pros

      The team. The people you work with are pretty awesome people. The culture is unlike any other company you’ll ever work for, and while it takes time to get adjusted, it really is like a big family.

      Cons

      Some management This is a young company (average age of employee here is probably late 20’s) with the team of directors being made up of people who have been with the company for a while, who really shined in their positions previously . This is a con because it means that everyone is hungry to get ahead, and sometimes the managers will not listen to advice you give them, because it doesn’t line up with their goals

      Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! As our Vice President of Talent, I would love to hear more about your concerns with some managers and future growth. While not all ideas are able to be implemented immediately, many of the game-changing ideas originated from the team rather than managers. I'd love to hear more from you! While it appears that there are a lot of younger team members perhaps in more of the entry level roles, 62% of our team is age 35 - 65+.
