Great local mission overshadowed by compensation issues and weak leadership
Pros
There are genuinely good people within the organization — hard-working, passionate, and committed to serving the business community. Local teams tend to care deeply about their markets, and some colleagues go above and beyond despite the challenges. The brand itself is strong, and the work is meaningful when you’re connected directly to the community.
Cons
Compensation practices are consistently unclear and too often inaccurate, creating unnecessary stress and distrust. Leadership struggles to communicate transparently or honor commitments, which erodes morale and makes it difficult to do your job with confidence. At the corporate level, the talent pool feels stagnant — the same perspectives, the same decisions, and very little innovation or fresh thinking. Unfortunately, strong local contributors are often overshadowed or hamstrung by systemic issues they can’t fix.
