Understaffed horrifically. No bonuses/benefits to employment such as holiday pay, sick pay. When busy, conditions/staff mood are very low. The entire staff agree that it is generally poorly managed. Most are just students doing it to afford university money and so turnover is high. Staff retention/ pieministers apparent desire to retain its own staff is extremely poor. And I was told recently that we were over staffing targets set by Pieminister... clearly a problem that needs to be adressed. If you can avoid it do not work here - places like Wagamama's which offer staff benefits, better tips as the food is higher quality and better staffing are a much better bet.
