Pros
Some of the smartest people I've worked with. The staff (outside of management) is a cohesive team. Working with in various industries made the work interesting. A great company to learn the technical side of automation. Small companies have the added benefit of being able to have flexible hours.
Cons
There is no management structure. A small company with two managers (owners), and the rest are engineers. This left no room to grow. Was often promised career opportunities, and never panned out. The pay was far less than the average for someone in this role. They take advantage of their employees by making them work significant amount of overtime hours (read: multiple 80+ hour weeks) with no compensation.
