      Work with kids Courses are mostly easy to teach Coworkers can be amazing

      Cons

      Long days with little breaks Curriculum usually is finished by the 2nd day and the rest of the week requires you to come up with more things to do Strong amount of nepotism Directors style of running things can vary Retaliation is known if you say something that is viewed as "negative" Favoritism towards people based on outside relationships (friends of current employees, family relatives) Contradictory statements No training in terms of how to be an effective leaders Certain information is not stated in handbook (work place complaints, HR issues, medical issues concerning staff) Fear of reporting issues

      Good Experience, Tiring Work

      Pros

      -Decent pay for a relatively low skilled job -Learn teaching skills -Interacting with kids can be really fun and rewarding -Learn the technology that you're going to be teaching to campers -CEO is a great person

      Cons

      -Didn't like my director but that may depend on the camps -hours are 8-5 and you're expected to keep interacting with kids during your "lunch break." Although you do get a small break either in the morning or the afternoon when you wouldn't have to talk to kids. -Teaching and interacting with campers all day long can be very very tiring.

      * Paid training * Learning different tech curriculum, such as JavaScript, Minecraft modding, some unity, MIT's scratch, etc. * Great (friendly, helpful, smart, supportive) team members * Smart, generally friendly campers * Supervisors (camp leaders) will work with you to make sure that everything is working smoothly * Free pizza every Friday

      Cons

      * Paid weekly (not hourly) * b/c of weekly pay, some weeks "cost" more than others, but it doesn't vary by much
