1. The CEO is manic and uses religion to mask his bigoted beliefs . Priorities are constantly shifting. Hours of work will go towards a project just to have the CEO change his mind and go back to square one. Prayer is enforced at the start and close of every meeting. You are treated differently if you refuse to pray. People at the company in the LGBTQ+ community are not treated fairly because they do not align with his Christian values. 2. There is no HR department and a total lack of respect for the very few "HR policies" that are in place. I was fired without having a single negative performance review or any inkling that my work was unsatisfactory. While this is technically legal in NC...is it morally right? The answer is no. I witnessed the CEO use the phrase "attractive teenage girls" TWICE in front of the entire company by the way. There is no HR department, meaning there is no way to report any misconduct or sexual harassment. I felt completely unprotected as an employee. If I tried to speak up, I was berated IN FRONT of my colleagues. 3. The culture at Plasma Games is so disappointing. You are promised growth and competitive compensation for hard work, which has shown not to be the case. The work life balance is not respected, in fact - it is encouraged that you work after hours and on the weekends. The office gossip is disgusting and it's a dog eats dog environment. You will be stepped on so someone else can rise to the top. Employees are not kind to one another and the women are viewed as lesser. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.
