The CEO has a model of employment where they hire a lot of people but don't really have opportunities for improvement, so much so that management resents new hires because of levels of pay. Alongside this, the beginning management will often gate-keep information about the job to new employees. One person who has worked there for years who is in a position of authority, though not enough to fire people often made inappropriate sexual comments and derogatory remarks toward other employees who have been there for shorter periods of time. Upper management either knows about this and does nothing or doesn't know about it. The company also has a "contract" for you not to work at other places similar to it for 1-2 years after leaving the job.
