Cons

This company is a subsidiary of Advanced Energy Capital, an energy hedge fund that sells energy commodities to ESCOs. Sounds fishy? Sounds like there's some smoke mirrors? Their are. In fact their business practices are begging for a class action suit. 1. Deceptive Hiring: They'll claim they are hiring on a salary plus commission, but then turn around and claim that your commissions are on a draw. (meaning commissions - salary, but never less than salary). 2. Nonexistent or Erroneous HR: HR is practically nonexistent. Paychecks repeatedly arrived late or not at all; contained errors, or were otherwise problematic. This was not an isolated issue. Other Acnt Execs and former Acnt Execs saw it as well. 3. Smoke & Mirrors Business Model PMG claims to be selling LEDs, They don't. They sell ESCO ENERGY packaged with LEDs as an *incentive*. They claim the LEDs come at "no upfront cost" by signing up clients (business owners) with a 3rd party ESCO at a HIGHER electric rate. Clients are drawn in by the potential savings through the LEDS, LEDs which may never get delivered or even work if they are delivered. Why? They don't have someone inspect the place to ensure QA; they just have the account executive, a salesman, eyeball the light fixtures. PMG doesn't care so long as the client signs that ESCO agreement. Once they do, they have a 3 day window to cancel without fees; but, LEDs will take a month minimum to ship (if they ever ship...). By the time the client chooses to cancel (b/c they don't get LEDs, functe timeional LEDS), the ESCO agreement surcharges them for cancelling 'early', then the LED division, LED Plus, turns around and charges the client as well for the LEDs (which may have never arrived). This leaves the client with a cancellation bill in the THOUSANDS, which they'll just pass on to a collections agency. How do I know this? Because PMG's cancellation rate is well over 50% and the Account Execs are typically tasked with "Customer Service", by which they mean use salesmanship to sign the client back up, but with a different ESCO.
