I wouldn't lie and say it's really easy, and that prospects reply to every email and sign on the dotted line after one call.
But if you're looking for a Series A Start-Up that's trying to take over its market. Then you'll be right at home.
The natural Cons for a business at this size:
* You have to work hard (harder than more established companies)
* No one is going to hand you success
* You have to take on full responsibility for success and failures
* As a young company you're responsible for building credibility in your customer's eyes
* You have to show up every day
* You truly own the sales cycle (which should be exciting)
* You have to drive your learning and reflect on why things may not have gone your way
* You have to be a positive force, and live with optimism
That being said, I've never felt a lack of support or guidance and this was what I hoped for joining an ambitious Series A. It's important to make sure you're ready for that when signing up.
