Pros

Good location of the Melbourne office and a chance to work with new tech at times.

Cons

I found it hard to sleep at night knowing I worked for a Betting Company. I had a poor experience with my direct manager, along with the People And Culture team. There were unrealistic expectations burdened to me that specifically surrounded my working hours. I also found that in my role I was capped out relatively quickly and was unable to learn more.

AVOID - Much better operators in the industry

Pros

Industry has strong growth prospects Office is good

Cons

I found the management team to have big ego's and the company run like a school yard with the CEO and top tier management an inner circle of friends restricting employee and company growth. Compared to the industry the the management team bought over from Australia were quite inexperienced and out of their depth which is having a poor impact on the brand growth and employee retention. Serious lack of leadership and someone to look up to and grow the company with. Work culture is generally a bit toxic and there are some serious issues that have been swept under the carpet. Plenty of much better operators in the USA currently, I would look elsewhere if you are considering this industry. Female employees should avoid.
