Lacking Leadership

Pros

Decent learning ground if you are coming straight out of college, lots to learn in the first year. Fast paced with opportunities to interact with clients (assuming you are in a client facing role). Business side(PMP) is a good area to learn about the industry, and the knowledge you will gain here is marketable.

Cons

The company lacks leadership. Inadequate investment in product development means that customers are buying very poor quality systems. Project & support teams spend endless hours under a lot of pressure, fixing and covering up issues. Employee morale is low, almost everyone that is not a Partner is looking to leave. High stress levels have resulted in degraded interactions/communications between employees. Not a consulting company, this is more of a low budget software shop with a heavy reliance on offshore development (although this is starting to change - more onshore). There are deep rooted problems on the technology side. Very little of what you learn here is valued outside this company.

Pros

Its a job. Pays ok. Lots of young energetic people.

Cons

Not what I expected at all, very disorganized! There are better gigs around the city, so I'd say keep looking. This is not a pleasant place to work at. Also beware company asks current employees to leave reviews here to improve ratings.

Ouch, this is rough!! That said, consulting and technology is not for everyone. Please reach out to anyone in HR, your CM, or any of the directors/partners to chat more about these concerns. I think you will find a very different perspective!
