Pros
Most of the people are friendly. The upper management thinks highly of the employees and extends nice perks such as paying for food trucks to cater lunch, etc.
Cons
The upper management is blind to the mismanagement of departments by middle managers and the dysfunction between departments. The architecture group in particular is a disorganized mess that lacks structured leadership, vision and direction. It is led by an abusive, narcissistic leadership that thrives on maintaining a reputation of accomplishment is not at all supported by high quality clients or meager amount of work they have on the boards or have completed. The lack of structure leads to stressful, chaotic environment and poor project management and poorly executed, low quality or outright failed projects measured by profitability, design, and and quality of documents. The egotistical management thrives on compliments and achieves this by preferential hiring of millennial aged workers and younger. This leads to an inexperienced and poorly trained workforce ill equipped to manage the projects in the absense of competent leadership. The architecture department is a toxic work environment. I regret having been lured to leave a good job to work here and will leave as soon as possible.
