      No work life balance

      Pros

      A lighthearted brand whose product offers a great alternative to traditional soda. The growth of the company is exciting.

      Cons

      The culture is a work you to the death environment. I write this as I reflect on the company never caring about any social movements such as BLM nor giving us MLK or Juneteenth off. They also expect you to work through the Christmas holiday! No diversity wrapped in ego driven white male leadership. The company is clearly a bunch of investors wanting to grow just to get their return investment and exit. Only 2 weeks vacation and if you try to take vacation they shame you. Ironically, unpaid maternity and paternity leave for a company who prides themselves on Allison, the founder, as a mother. The company culture is antiquated and set up only for those at the top to sell their equity.

      It's all fake, beware.

      Pros

      The drink is great and people love it.

      Cons

      Leadership is unreasonable in expectations. Expectation to work a minimum of 12-18 hr days, every day. Expected to work if sick or on vacation. 24/7 availability. VPs and Sales Execs are mean and do not care for anyone's human needs. Misleading, isolation, manipulation, and gaslighting are constant. You are discouraged from having any normal interaction with co-workers or friendly chats. It's all about image and ego. There is no way to succeed. The business is growing insanely to the great sacrifice and mistreatment of employees. Complete lack of empathy from leadership, no one is happy.

      some of your coworkers investment in employees at our quarterly events

      Cons

      micro managing higher ups who feel threatened. i have witnessed near every person talk about people behind their back daily. almost obsessively so. I learned not to disclose my own personal life or worries about work bc someone will inevitably talk about you behind your back I am here bc of the name recognition but my moral compass is being destroyed more and more. Take the burn book from mean girls and bring it to daily life - thats life at poppi
