Pros

I loved my time at Preti. Talented attornies and staff, beautiful office space and conference rooms, opportunities to work on significant cases and the firm has impressive political connections that employees are able to engage/interact with if they so choose. Really a top notch firm. Benefits were fantastic including 8% EMPLOYER contribution to your 401k plus an additional match for up to a certain figure of employee contribution to the same. They even do tuition rrimbursement for law school but you'd never get a job as an attorney there without the proper pedigree.

Cons

Regular politics of being a mid-large (for the area) size law firm but I liked it. If you don't like fast paced it may burn you out. Unfortunately in Maine the firms aren't large enough for much professional

Pros

Gosh, i wish I could provide a 'pro'. I guess the only "Pro" I could provide is that it was a paycheck. There's no future with this firm.

Cons

EXPENSIVE insurance EXPENSIVE parking pay is below grade Very Old Schooled environment; management won't update any systems.
