Pros

The Exec. Director is full of 1,000 great, unproven, ideas. And she is eager to execute them all at the same time, on her timeline. Prime is a place that innovates and can possibly change how climate tech receive funding. The pay is also good.

Cons

Be aware going in that although this is a formally 501c3: 1. Only a few people act like this is a non-profit or understands how a non profit should be run. This is impact investing. The ED does not know how to build an employee- centered infrastructure, create wellness programs, or prioritize building strong leadership before creating more funds. 2. They will expect you to execute on all the ideas in an unreasonable time frame. 3. You will have to learn and abide by the ED's meeting "norms" and strictly live by them. You will be literally told you have "1 min to inform" or "3 mins to think or speak." Or "2 mins in the meeting to decide." If you like to micro-organize your processes into an obsessive meta-structure, this is this the place for you. 4. There is serious unhealed trauma with some past business issues. Do not get involved in these conversations. 5. You can't execute these type of big ideas with a staff this size unless you want to fry them all.
