Pros

- Work life balance is good for myself at least and some others. Although I understand some in the technical team have to work late and away from home from time to time - Majority of the people are friendly and approachable - Offices are nice, open plan, plenty of space and a coffee machine! - The Directors/CEO are excellent very friendly and approachable as well which makes it easy to talk to them - There are limited opportunities to expand your knowledge if you ask and show initiative. - Fun Christmas / Mid year / Summer parties all paid for by the company. - Pay is reasonable although no regular pay rises.

Cons

- Seems to be a rift between departments. I get the feeling that some people struggle to accept responsibility and try and pass that blame onto other teams who appear to be constantly having to deal with this. - Some long standing employees within the sales team attempt to bully and intimidate staff, especially newcomers - Sometimes there is a disconnect between what is sold and what the customer expects, although usually the technical team work their hardest to sort things out - There is no private health care or other staff benefits (EG free gym membership or eye tests etc).

Pros

-Some genuinely lovely people in the company -Great working environment within the desk -They allow full remote working for job roles that allow it -If you get in with the right people you will progress -They pay okay -Big company with a small company atmosphere -Everyone is friendly -Relaxed atmosphere -Some very clever staff members that you can learn a lot from

Cons

-Ongoing Training is almost non existent -Lack of processes mean everything takes a long time and simple tasks are turned into ridiculously over complicated procedures -There are some great managers however some sr managers are almost non existent and uncontactable throughout the Woking day -There is a huge disconnect between internal teams, each company has different processes which turns most simple tasks into a complete nightmare -The company initially tried to not pay overtime I had done, they then tried to make things right by offering to pay my over time at standard rate (even thought my contract stated otherwise) it took 2 months but in the end that paid it at the correct overtime rate…. I Lost a lot of respect for the company though when this happened. They did put it right in the end though so this must be taken into consideration. -Not enough staff for the workload meaning staff can be overworked, I honestly believe this is not intentional but because of the lack of communication within the company this is how things have ended up. -Some individuals can be very unhelpful at times, not always but sometimes -The company in general is very bad at handing over tasks to other departments, tasks will be chucked over to you with little to no briefing.. sometimes you will have to dig to find critical information that should of been provided from the get go. -The company is a conglomerate of multiple companies, all with different processes and ways of doing things… this makes internal processes a nightmare and even the simplest tasks are blown into hour long procedures!
