Pros

Pros- It's a job, that's it.

Cons

This company had great potential. Because of how they treat their employees, I don't think this company will make it. I can't express my disappointment in this company. I was a top salesman in the company, and I would NEVER recommend this company to people wanting to go solar or people wanting to work there. I quit when I saw the dishonesty going on in the background, even with what panels they said they were giving people, and with how disrespectful they are to their most loyal employees. I hope the owners learn to respect people and remember business is business, but kindness can be held through those tough decisions.

Project Solar Response

Thank you for your response and thank you for your contribution to Project Solar. We are bringing more transparency to the solar industry and the price of Solar. We have been able to drop the price on average, by about 50%. The company continues to learn and evolve, operationally and as a culture. Sometimes we have to make difficult decisions. We are grateful for the people who have worked at Project Solar and those who continue to work at the company to build on our mission. We will continue to do employee engagement surveys to receive feedback on what is working and what could be better.

Pros

Strong team-oriented and collaborative work environment. Easy access to leadership. Fully-stocked break room. Decent benefits for the company size.

Cons

Pay is not competitive. Job roles are not clearly defined. KPI's and performance expectations are constantly changing. You could get laid off at any time for any reason, regardless of your position or tenure. Corporate policies are not uniformly enforced. No HR department.
