Pros

I've made a few good friends in the company. Eventually, all of them left.

Cons

As an employee and part of middle management, I felt that work isn't just work and it weighed on me when I got home. I have been a main witness as to how the CEO berated everyone from executive management down to the entry-level employee. You'll see business partners being mistreated and shouted at. This was on a daily basis. The company was definitely top heavy and it felt like a revolving door. Almost every month you would see some restructuring in the company's org chart, which is an obvious sign of poor leadership. I've been part of larger, more profitable ad agencies and never have I encountered such belittling of employees. The CEO refuses to take criticism for his actions, and always find people to blame. During my last few days, the CEO seemed to avoid talking to me as if I owe him my life. He practically did this to everyone who resigned. Grow up a little, so your company can grow with you too.

Long hours. No respect for weekends.

Pros

Lots of great talent in this agency during my time. Good place to gain experience. Location is also fairly accessible and the office is nicely decorated.

Cons

Had to put in long hours, even on weekends. Everyone was overworked because the agency didn't know how to say "No" to their clients. Management also didn't respect weekends. The agency's whatsapp group kept going off on Saturdays and Sundays. Topics were still work-related and people were expected to respond. The agency claimed to be advocates of "work-life balance" but that never really happened. Also, everyone seemed to be drinking their own kool-aid.

Great Promise, Poor Implementation

Pros

Good compensation package with acceptable benefits Some employees are good people

Cons

Micromanagement in the highest degree A toxic CEO who treats everyone badly. Passive aggressive management styles. You’re only taken cared of as long as you’re useful. Once you resign, you’re placed in Siberia. Overworked and no work life balance with messages being sent even on weekends… non stop.
