Toxic work environment - extreme bullying

Pros

Work hours are constrained to maintain a strict 37.5 hour work week. It is very rare that staff need to work outside these hours.

Cons

Staff are yelled at on a daily basis, sometimes for hours on end. Management consistently verbally abuses staff by ridiculing, belittling and humiliating staff members in front of the team. Staff are always blamed for challenges with the organization. There is a high amount of turnover. The management style is completely autocratic, no disagreements or suggestions are permitted. Standards of work are highly particular and inconsistent.

Pros

Propel Solutions has been a great move for me. It has a great company culture, and promotes a work life balance and means it, which is refreshing. It's been a really engaging work environment, and there's lots of opportunities for learning and growth on the job, as well as longer term. All the projects you are assigned to are different, so every day is a new challenge. You will never be bored at Propel Solutions!

Cons

There are some steep learning curves when you start, which is the same as any job.

Toxic company with high turnover

Meeting talented colleagues who you stay connected with after leaving the company.

Cons

Very toxic environment, management is condescending to staff especially if they're learning something new, you're not provided any training and the owner demands you train and study specific books on your personal time which defeats their claim for work/life balance. While employed you're asked to hype the business and to post positive reviews on here whether you agree or not (a good company wouldn't need to ask nor would have such negative reviews). Extremely high turnover with only two employees having over a year term and you're asked to lie about length of employment.
