Pros

There are no Pros, the only good thing is, you can make your own schedule but they expect you to be available between 60 - 70 Hours a week

Cons

They promise you the world but don't care about anything besides their own profit. Not once have I earned yet the $500 - $600 a week as they promise. In order to get hired you must bring money for all kind of classes, DOT Physical etc. etc. You make yourself available 60 + hours a week or longer and you still barely earn $300 and you must calculate your own Gas per week which comes to $60 minimum plus the wear and tear of your own vehicle. In less than 3 Month I drove over 3400 miles of which barely 1650 are paid miles. They make you drive 25 - 30 miles EMPTY to pick up a patient and bring them 1 mile away to a doctor's office, which pays you $5. If you have a legit question, they ignore you. The only communication is via text message. If you are late 5 minutes that is when they bombard you with messages, telling you to log in a pickup, even though you have not even picked up the patient yet, so they look good to LogistiCare. Their HQ are in California and on the East Coast they treat Drivers like Garbage. If you keep a record of your trips, then you also recognize they cheat you on your pay. No real detailed statements will be made available to drivers, so you have a guessing game every week on how much you may get paid. If you break down your hours and earnings you may make $7 an hour if you lucky. Funny part is that patients tell us drivers how much THEY are collecting for the trip. Between 1 - 3-mile trip you earn $5, 4 - 6-mile trip you earn $7, 7 - 10 you earn $9 but you don’t get paid to get to those pickups which easily sometimes can be up to 30 miles UNPAID. This is a typical PROFIT company who don’t care about their Drivers at all. So called Dispatch has nothing but a nasty attitude. They schedule you to be at 1 point and then expect you to be 35 miles further in the next 5 minutes and if you are late than you get text message after text message, while driving (so much for distracted driving) The Company promise you allot when you first start and they act very professional out of California but then the people on the east Coast treat you like dirt. The Company collects up to Types of Charge Weekday Business Hours Weekends & Off Hours Ambulatory – Base Rate $25 - $30 $30 - $40 ~~~~ In addition to >>>>>> Additional Mileage Fees $3 - $5 per mile $5 - $7 per mile $5 - $10 per mile Wait-time Fees (per 30 mins) $15 - $30 $15 - $30 $15 - $30 Additional Attendant Fees $5 - $10 $5 - $10 $5 - $10 but drivers who do all the work earn NOTHING, so as I said STAY AWAY

Pros

Flexible hours, indepence, opportunity to make good income, choose your Schedule, help patients get treatment. If you love driving and helping people while having the liberty of choosing how often and how much you wish to make then Provado is perfect for you.

Cons

Cancellations, traffic delays, wear and tear of vehicle, and by the way Provado does pay you when a cancellation occurs. Not all milage but they do give credit.

Pros

Its nice to get to help people. Pay is good when you have driving jobs.

Cons

You don't always get paid what they say your job for the day will be comped. Dispatchers are hard to get ahold of, jobs get canceled after you have already gone to pick up the client, and then you don't get paid for that job. The work is not consistent, usually only a couple of days a week.
