3rd party HR - in house HR is related to management Too many operations dictated from 2000 miles away No sch downtime for repairs.. unscheduled downtime not taken advantage of Understaffed, relies on too few to perform too many Procurement system not reliable, takes too long for approvals Minimal training before being turned loose to operate sophisticated machinery by oneself No night supervision Digital file system hard to navigate Automation has too many glitches Lacks specialized tooling MacGyver experience required False belief that 1 or 2 people can maintain a million dollar plant operating 24/7 @ 365 Late night call in due to no night shift/ extra maint personnel
