Pros

You learn a lot of Java in the first 6 months during the graduate programme.

Cons

Senior management does not respect or acknowledge the humanity of their employees. No appreciation for the work employees do. Little to no opportunities for growth after the first 6 months. Salary is very low overall and much lower than their competitors. No perks or benefits at all, not even a pension fund. Clause in contract mandates you to pay back your first SIX months' salary if you resign within the first 2 years.

Pros

You'll learn the fundamentals of Java (grad programme)

Cons

Company has nothing to offer in the long term, a lot of empty promises from management. Company hierarchy is completely dysfunctional Employees belittled and manipulated by management and owners Crap pay (but you know that already) If you don't have other options, read your contract carefully. Don't be like the many who got screwed contractually.

Pros

They have a great learning culture. You get a very very good technical base, specifically in the enterprise Java world. The 6 month mentorship is probably the best out there.

Cons

The company has the most manipulative set of management ever. Their pay is probably the worst in the industry, and I can almost guarantee that if you wait a little longer and apply to more jobs, you will get a better offer. On top of the low pay and the harsh and manipulative management, you also get the worst contract in the industry that essentially binds you to the company for a total of 4 years, and you have to pay back a sum of money to leave. 4 years is a long time, and you really have to consider if you are ready to make that commitment. The 4 years also means the company doesn't put much effort to be a "good" company, because they know they have you for the next 4 years. There's also some shady stuff with how they do certifications, in that you are forced to do a cert but have to pay back the money if you fail it, and you have to study for the cert after hours in your free time.
