Pros

You get to learn from experience. Meaning you get to experience everything first hand because no training will be provided. You get to figure out how it works on your own.

Cons

Very dirty office. Dust everywhere. Pots and vases of dirty unchanged water. Cecilia constantly leave lemons in the water jar for days and then will make you carry the heavy jar and clean out all the mold. Cecilia likes to decorate and will ask you to rearrange the office furniture for hours and get angry when your work is not completed. Very messy work flow. Tasks are assigned last minute with insufficient time. Many employees are forced to work until night, latest I left the office was 11pm. She constantly uses interns or those who apply for jobs to write up marketing plans and articles for a "writing test" and then post it up on Medhatter as her own article. She has a very bad temper and would constantly shout at employees and slam the door. She also tends to get violent, has a history of scratching employees.

This employee had clocked in 20 MC / no show at work over a period of 90 days. As a result of poor performance, we had to terminate her employment after given sufficient warming. As she failed to return the office laptop, drawer keys and mobile phone issued to her, a police report was made. While we understand it can be upsetting to be terminated and it might even be understandable to undermine authority, it is quite another matter to steal and malign employers and colleagues who had given her many chances to prove herself at work. With our office monitored by 24 hour CCTV, such claims are sadly deep manifestation of the repeated lies that we have been subjected during her employment with us.

Publicist PR is a nightmare

Pros

Supportive colleagues who stands by you as they're in this 'mess' together with you.

Cons

Cecilia is an overbearing superior who thinks everyone loves her. She has serious micromanaging issues with her colleagues / subordinates, no respect of personal spaces & boundaries. She is too full of herself.

An overbearing personality will not have tolerated 1 toilet break every 40 minutes as this clearly means the staff either has bladder problems or skives on the job. This being your first job, learn to accept mistakes graciously instead of blaming the world for your failures.

Don't ever work here

Pros

Colleagues were the only thing keeping me sane during my stint here. It was horrible.

Cons

I can relate to all the negative reviews here; it is all true. Cecilia is a condescending, irrational, temperamental and delusional person. She thinks that clients love her, but in actual fact, they think she is unprofessional and cannot deliver her promises. You can tell just by seeing how many clients actually retain or renew their contract with this company. She thinks the media loves her, but they only tolerate her to work with the clients. Also beware, I've had her use my email address to send out emails in my name to chase clients for payment, when I went out for lunch and forgot to lock my macbook. A couple of other colleagues had that happen to them too (for other various reasons). Cecilia does not respect you or your boundaries. The world needs to know how much of a nightmare this company is because of her. All the positive reviews are LIES. Turnover rate is insane and no one stays more than 3-6 months.
