Pros

Working for Puff has been an incredible opportunity so far. The work is challenging, engaging, and constantly changing. The events, clients, and unique off site locations make each work day a new experience!

Cons

The work can be physically challenging and the hours can be long depending on the shift but everyone works well together as a team so there is always someone there to help you with your task if you need them!

Pros

Not many pros except flexible scheduling. Then they make days mandatory on the weekends when they over book parties. They hire anyone who walks in because they can't keep staff that is actually trained.

Cons

No benefits at all!! Hourly pay is horrible, terrible, eXtreme low. They cheat people on hours and tips. Management has no idea what they are doing, basic ally running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They serve raw chicken to customers because ovens don't work then blame it on the staff. 90% of the time the staff is set up for failure. The equipment is broken 90% of the time. The trucks malfunction and break on events. They keep everyone under 30 hours cause they don't want to pay benefits for anyone. They don't take care of the little people. They charge $30 and $35 and hour per staff member and pay the staff $12 or less. Tips are so rare because of what they charge the customers think the staff is paid that well. Their training is crap. Plus they make you buy your own uniform making it mandatory to purchase a $35 shirt... then they require you to purchase a white one a few weeks later.

Thank you for your comments. Our hiring practices are based on providing a fair opportunity for each candidate and as such we take into consideration previous experience and their ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. As is typical with part-time positions, we do not offer traditional benefits, however we have put in place a variety of employee centered initiatives including two employee appreciation days, recognition of the employee of the month, the Spotlight Award for the best performing department each quarter, the Token of Appreciation program where team members can earn a paid day off for exceeding expectations in their daily role, complimentary daily staff meal, and quarterly lunches with our CEO to celebrate each employee’s work anniversary, while providing a platform for feedback. We are proud of the accomplishments of our team and our ability to work together on exciting events that exceed our client’s expectations.
