Overall evil company

Pros

Interesting product concept to work on

Cons

Managers are completely useless. Information is hidden rather than shared. The whole company is strongly against planning, improvement, growth, or even its own profits. They're always quick to blame the software engineers for lack of requirements and planning. Even the CEO will just start yelling at people because the managers don't share any information other than how much work they themselves are doing (which is bs btw bc I've proved them wrong multiple times).

A Toxic and Unproductive Workplace – Avoid!

Pros

Please, even if you are in desperate need of money, do not work for this company. The management and staff are extremely unprofessional, lacking talent, and often disrespectful. A few long-time employees constantly undermine others and create a toxic work environment. Everyone at the company seems to work in constant fear of the CEO, who only prioritizes the Vice President and a favored female colleague (whose name I won't mention). No one else holds any value in the organization. They create a stressful environment, constantly talk behind your back, and spread falsehoods about you. There is also a 22-year-old man who naively believes he is a senior, despite lacking any real knowledge or expertise. To secure his position, he continuously reports on others to management. The entire team is incredibly unprofessional, and you won’t gain any valuable experience working there. Even their product hasn’t been functional in the past six years! I strongly urge you to stay away from this company, no matter how much you may need the money.

Cons

The company suffers from a toxic leadership style where the CEO frequently yells at employees, fostering a hostile and disrespectful work environment. Favoritism is rampant, with management prioritizing certain individuals while undervaluing the efforts of others, leaving the team demoralized. Senior-level employees often fail to contribute meaningfully and rely on subordinates to complete their tasks, which creates frustration and inefficiency. Despite six years of development, the company’s product remains non-functional and unusable, reflecting poor management and strategic failures. The culture is rife with backstabbing, as employees frequently undermine one another and spread false information, leading to unnecessary conflicts. Moreover, the workplace provides no opportunities for professional growth or learning, while constant micromanagement and internal politics create a stressful and unproductive environment.

Pros

The concept and product they are selling could have impact

Cons

Within 2 days I knew I needed to leave. The staff immediately told me how awful it was to work there. One employee spent 1 hour telling me how bad it was on my first day. The office has no culture, and it is very depressing atmosphere. The CEO I worked directly with was volatile with the staff. Lots of belittling and yelling at specific people. It was awful. Glass doors do not block all the sound… When giving notice to transition I was too was belittled for a personal choice I was making to leave. It was so uncomfortable for me that I did not return. I just couldn’t face coming in, it was that bad. 4 weeks was too long. The way they handled my exit, I was not surprised considering how they treated other people. They even sent me a threatening email about a key fob involving their lawyer (so sad and petty). It was so odd I just played along so they would leave me alone.
