Looks great at first, then realize you're in much, much worse.
Pros
Although incredibly busy, due to the owner/manager's viewpoint of how work is to be done...You are thrown into the fire of work pretty quickly without much actual training or guidance. This does help those who can stand this type of pressure and quickly gain experience in knowledge. Offers great benefits, however you will be incredibly lucky if you ever get to actually use any of them.
Cons
Offers Salary, Insurance, Bonuses, "Liberal PTO, however Salary only pays 40 Hours, though it's pretty much guaranteed to work a minimum of 50. Bonuses are always a game rigged to make you lose or work a lot for a little, in order to get a bonus you'll end up working 60+ hours but the bonus only adds up to an additional 5 hours of work. PTO is given from January to December. However you lose it in December if you havent used it yet, and good luck with having any time off approved. There is always an excuse as to why you cant take off no matter the reason. Even when you do get lucky enough that he will approve it, be prepared to have your vacation interrupted by phone calls and being asked to work while on PTO. Manager/Owner is quick to Hire and Fire. He will micromanage every employee, and when he gives you specific orders that end up causing more problems, he will blame you and others for his mistakes in guidance and leadership. There has been 5 different managers over a 2 year period. 2 of the 5 were never qualified to be managers, the other 3 were only ever there to be the owner's voice in what he wanted. They never were truly able to manage or lead the company the way they wanted to and it needed to be. They were simply made to carry out his orders without any benefit. 3 of the managers were promoted from lower positions, with no increase in pay, benefits, nothing.
