Most of what I am about to state has been written about in other reviews, but I'll just go over them from my perspective.
Ever since we moved into this new office (of which I question the affordability now), things have gone downhill. Let's outline them:
~ employees' sentiment towards HR not positive
~ allegations of harassment of both sexual and verbal in nature (from earlier reviews and we all know who the culprits are) were not really addressed as some of those employees are still with the company
~ layoffs due to mismanagement of money. CEO has always talked about this being a big family, so let's see how they handled this:
~ let go of a employee who just came back from maternity leave
~ let go of a receptionist they just hired a month previous
~ let go of an employee whom they poached for their expertise/knowledge
~ let go of two of their top developers
~ let go of 4 or 5 customer support staff which strained the surviving members
~ let go of an employee by phone while that person was on or about to go on vacation
~ let go of basically everyone in the European offices (I'm still trying to figure out what that whole fiasco was all about)
~ all that damage yet not one person in management or upper management touched...hmmm...and then you wonder why remaining employees have trust/loyalty issues
~ inexplicable reorganizations and promotions
~ major departures in top management levels
~ have inexperienced persons leading certain departments whom many agree should not
~ probably around 20 non-management employees have left since, due to various reasons ranging from: salary, micro-management, no chance of moving up, general dislike of their manager or think the company is a sinking ship
~ the employee turnover rate has been brutal as was alluded to in a previous review. CEO tried to put a positive spin but to no avail.
~ current employee count is probably maxed at around 110 (don't know the exact number because it seems to change daily but we are less than what we had in our old office. If I recall, at one point the CEO mentioned we had about 200 or so a year ago)
~ the office is so empty that I swear I saw tumbleweed awhile back
~ morale is still low as seen through lack of employee participation in company events/socials or it could just be that we don't have that many employees left
