Pros

Flexible timing, six months appraisal system, decent partially enclosed office cubicle, unrestricted internet access to google and paste any junk code, pays perks for blogging

Cons

Just senior developers (googlers) pushed upstairs into a management and architect role. Their lack of experience and Google guided paths puts pressure on developers to work over a number of weeks, months or even years

Pros

QBurst under the previous management was a wonderful place to work. They promoted growth of the employees in such a manner that employees were self motivated to pursue additional responsibilities apart from the project responsibilities. The office culture was supportive, friendly and non toxic

Cons

Currently after the new CEO came in and had talks to the employees, his talks seem to be concerned only about profit making and doesnt seem to uphold the existing values the old management had. There is a high risk of uncertainity in his plans and there are talks from the higher levels of negative scenarios to come up in future. The appraisals have become stricter, the existing policies have been updated and al lot of other talks are being heard. Hoping these stay as rumours and Qburst remains as it was. Qburst had a low attrition rate under the previous management. Hoping that streak continues .

Pros

* 6 month appraisal. * Opportunity to work on latest technologies. * Flexible hours.(Not for all) * Work from home option. (Not for all) * Half day leave policy. * No strict dress codes, casuals allowed. * Good infrastructure compared to similar level companies.

Cons

* No work life balance. (Depends on the allocated projects and that depends on how good you are at impression management) * Joined here as a fresher, got no proper training, no materials, no guidance. * Biased appraisals and project allocations. * Hectic work schedules due to unrealistic promises to clients. * Management shamelessly asks developers to work overtime and Weekends continuously for months. * Hard working employees are not getting recognised. There are some people with narcissistic personality disorder who will criticise your work for boasting themselves. They try to take credit for all the work done by others in the team. * No on site opportunities. * Everyone fears for the job security since seniors are getting fired regularly. * Lot of internal politics and groupism. * Your life at QBurst will purely depend on your manager's mindset. If he/she thinks that you are a machine, then it is you fate.
