Pros
- Good work/life balance and flexibility with schedule (for appointments, life events, sick days, etc.) - Interesting problems to solve and a lot of active, meaningful, ongoing research projects - You get to work in a start-up environment (lots of responsibilities, on the job learning, opportunity for growth, small team), but the company is stable (commercial products that people like and pay for)
Cons
- There are customer support tasks and deadlines that can get stressful and tight at times. But hey, that's the cost of working at a growing startup with a product that people want to use!
