Pros

Great people working on a great mission. The people that work at Quadel really care about affordable housing. Good opportunities to move up within the company. The company also valued work life balance and offered a strong benefit package.

Cons

When I first joined things were great. It was a great company in which to grow and get to work on different things. However, over my time there things started going downhill. Contracts were mismanaged and eventually lost, which led to financial troubles for the company. As a result there were multiple rounds of layoffs, elimination of 401(k) match, furloughs, no raises for multiple years and reduced bonuses. These actions really affected employee morale and coming to work was often depressing. Overall I think there was a lot of distrust in the competence of upper management. It's truly a shame that such a mission driven company is now being driven into the ground. The reputation of the company seems to be tarnished beyond repair.

Pros

Some of the management actually cared about the work, the rest only cared about numbers

Cons

No stability, no loyalty, no honesty from the company to its staff. Multiple layoff in a 3 year period

Pros

Dedicated group of subordinate staff who would do just about anything necessary to help the company reach its goals year after year even at the detriment of their own personal and professional growth, health and sometimes, family.

Cons

This company has the most unresponsive leadership of any government contractor. Employee suggestions, questions, or concerns are consistently ignored and often met with retaliation in the form of terminations or forced resignations resulting in a high number of EEOC complaints, with thousands of tax payer funds spent on preventable settlements. Basic compensation such as promotions, pay raises and performances bonuses are frequently used by Managing/Project Directors as favorite tools to silence/punish dissenting opinions especially at its subsidiaries while top leadership looked the other way.
