Great place to work with cutting edge technology

Pay is fair, with generous incentives (e.g. year-end bonus); generous funding for educational development; products are cutting edge and substantial R&D budgets make engineering work extremely interesting; family-oriented culture & environment; supportive managers; health care plan is by far superior to anything I've ever had

Cons

As might be the case with small businesses in general, the workload can at times be substantial. There is a very small turnover rate (most employees have been at the company for 5+ years).

Small, Good Lunches, good location

Cons

Using old technologies and engineering techniques. Management does not want to move into the 21st Century. Disparate SW/HW/MF teams with no common thread. Focus on manufacturing old manual process PCBs with little or no documentation.

Pros

Great culture and people. Well made product that has the market. Good place if you are entry level.

Cons

Salaries are WELL below market level. President runs the company like a dictatorship, managers have no real power. President micromanages EVERTHING. Company has a high turnover rate, employees seem to get experience there and then leave to a real company. The only was to move up is to play politics and kiss the Presidents behind 24/7.
