Pros
Qualia solved a market issue in the title insurance space and the product was good. They overhired when times were good, and that put them in a bad position when interest rates went up. The people they hire are down-to-earth and great partners, and their product has a net positive impact on their customers.
Cons
Leadership is inexperienced and doesn't know how to navigate choppy waters. The shift to total remote hurt collaboration across the board because no one talks to each other. The company also has no culture.
