Pros
Working here was a great experience. QM and other restaurants in the group are very well-run with years of experience, so things usually go smoothly—management know how to solve problems, and they are helpful and open to feedback. The restaurant was almost always very busy and there was always something to do, so it was a fun job that kept you on your feet. I really liked my coworkers, and as a very young and fresh employee, found them to be supportive and kind. Also, they give delicious family meals to employees before every shift!
Cons
The job could be super non-stop and fast-paced at times, and I would occasionally get reprimanded for not doing everything as fast as possible. I would also get reprimanded for being idle just for a moment even when I had done every single one of my tasks. The staff meals were at weird times (11am for "breakfast" before the lunch shift and 4pm for "dinner" before the dinner shift, so if I was working until late, sometimes near midnight on super busy days, I would get very hungry.) However, it was a good experience overall
