Pros

Some very smart people here and the platform itself is beautifully built. It sells itself, if presented to the right person at the right time.

Cons

The culture created by senior sales leadership is highly politicized, unprofessional and borderline abusive. You WILL be tested, questioned CONSTANTLY, and made to feel like you don't belong. This activity isn't just enforced by leadership, it's encouraged by them in peer to peer relationships as well. I HIGHLY encourage you, if offered employment here, to really vet out the culture from all aspects. If you can handle it, go for it. If your gut tells you otherwise, listen to it.

Pros

-The overall product idea is very good and is valuable -Many talented people who want to do a good job -For a start-up, has decent benefits -Is a market leader in the space -Lack of process and oversight allows for a lot of freedom in most jobs

Cons

-Company continues to shoot itself in the foot -Releases buggy software that repeatedly impacts customers -Fails to adapt to larger company business models and expectations -Lacks significant marketing and sales collateral -Product management lacks cohesive vision, chasing technology and not business value -Promotes people who are good at their current job, not good for the role they are assuming. Many managers were good individual contributors but are failing at leading their teams -Still relies on a relative few trusted technical specialists to do most of the work, struggles to build processes that are repeatable and empower new people to share the load. Cracks is Customer results are beginning to show and some people are burning out because of this

Cons

1. Growing pains or perhaps just pains 2. Stagnation: Not moving fast enough to the original start-up mentality 3. Product still needs stability. Niche. 4. New Management results in tense atmosphere 5. Clique hiring process - qualified candidates ignored even for initial interviews 6. Company cultural bottleneck: successful legacy start-up mentality employees now experience spotty collaboration from new hires of extremely large public enterprise companies 7. Legacy Star talent across engineering, and marketing are terminated or leave 8. Excelling Sales people leave, because inability to execute 9. HR pressured to comply with orders even when not good business practice 10. With new executive team, everyone knows they are replaceable matter what they have accomplished each and every month has resulted in high stress environment 11. Competitors have caught up and fast exceeded 12. Pay grade is below par considering hard work, poor benefits and current culture of uncommunicative silos between management and teams 13. Playing catch-up when you were once an innovator start-up is tough
