      Great pay and employees, but low morale and culture issues

      Pros

      The pay was great! And employees were wonderful.

      Cons

      One of the biggest challenges at this location was the work environment. Management often demonstrated limited empathy toward employees, and there was little effort made to build a strong team culture. As a result, morale and communication were consistently low.

      None at all. I'm still in shock about these people.

      What kind of place hires you, does all the onboarding, expects you to put in your two weeks at your previous gig, only to fire you on day 2 of training with zero explanation? I was really excited to work here. Now my entire life has crashed and I have no clue what I did wrong, despite asking for feedback. No one should patronize a place that treats people this way. And $500 in severance in LOS ANGELES is a JOKE.

      The position offered generous tips, respectful and kind customers, and a collaborative atmosphere fostered by exceptionally friendly coworkers.

      Cons

      General manager was challenging to work with due to abrasive communication style and lack of warmth.
