    I worked at RACV full-time

    Pros

    Decent discounts on insurance products

    Cons

Do not take care of staff or provide adequate training and expect them to take on duties beyond their job criteria Cheated staff of wages through use of 'time in lieu' and when it was discovered and RACV forced to backpay they still underpaid as management has not recorded the ins/outs of time through appropriate systems. Actively encourage dishonest business practices and provide sales incentives that disregard customer needs. Do not take action when dishonest/illegal actions are reported by staff, I personally know of several staff who were committing fraud and it took years to get just 1 removed as Retail management cared more for their figures than the law.

I worked at RACV full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - There is a 1:10 ratio of talent vs toxic legacy employees if you can find them... - Half price product offerings e.g. Insurance & Hotel stays

    Cons

The most accurate analogy i heard whilst employed was "RACV is an analogy of MadMax, the last remaining survivors hiding from the ever-evolving industry that surrounds them." It's surprisingly accurate... - Strategically siloed unaligned delivery, resulting in spinning wheels and value never realised to what should be a member-focused organisation. - Industry talent lasts 3-6 months before either burning out, being bullied or realising their mistake, joining RACV and leaving on their own accord. - Resulting in disgusting levels of toxicity across teams - 'Change' is met with fear, doubt and insecurities of legacy staff. - Career progression is based on klout, not skill, experience or results proven - CEO / Neil, joketown...
