Pros
you will never be fired from this job unless you want to be. You also can work as many hours as possible, some working 24/7 for months at a time. If you’re incredibly lazy but show up scheduled days you will be paid as much as your hardest working coworker. If you can play a petty game you can succeed.
Cons
There is zero incentive for hard work. Your required to make “alliances” with managers to gain flexibility rights. You can’t put OT in your own program. They will just adjust your time punches and say “oh well” locking pay periods the day of. If they think you’ll roll over they’ll treat you as such. HR isn’t active allowing for harassment and petty problems with a rotating door staffing atmosphere. The rules constantly change with circumstance and no handbook is available. The lack of accountability allowed to upper management makes everything a fight.
