Pros

Small local quaint company, slowly but gradually expanding providing room to relocate and growth within the company. Great compensation and offers lot's of unique benefits and perks to it's employees. Paid days off without needing to use vacation, sick or PO time during inclement weather. Ross is very proactive and when it comes to it's employee's health and wellness offering up to $50 reimbursement on gym memberships and helping employees lead healthy lifestyles. Those are just a few perks Ross offers. I have worked with quite a few property management companies and Ross is by far my favorite.

Cons

HR and Corporate plays favorites. Employees placed in supervisory roles are not properly trained creating a low morale within the office and if you complain you are made to feel like a trouble maker. Complaints are not taken seriously by HR. I resigned because I constantly felt discriminated against and harassed by my immediate supervisor. My supervisor never encouraged or provided a "TEAM" atmosphere at my community. Instead it was every man for himself.

Thank you for your feedback and recognizing HR's efforts as it relates to company perks, compensation and benefits. Issues related to harassment and discrimination are taken very seriously by all levels of management. The company has a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding issues of this nature. The company has an Open Door Policy and employees are encouraged to take their concerns and issues to any executive level of management, if they believe their concerns have not been fully resolved and addressed. If there is no further communication from the employee to any level of management regarding their concern, it is believed the employee is satisfied and therefore the issue is closed with no further action. We appreciate you highlighting the many benefits of working with ROSS Companies and wish you the best of luck in your endeavors.

Pros

Easy interview process only took 1 week

Cons

1. Everyone is friends and sometimes they cant differ between business and personal. I was sexually harassed and brought it to HR but because my abuser had been with the company 20 years I was terminated the next day.

ROSS Companies takes all allegations of harassment, including sexual harassment, very seriously. We conduct a thorough investigation of the allegations and take appropriate action at the conclusion of the investigation. If at anytime an employee is not satisfied with the results of the investigation, we have an open door policy, which the individual can address their concerns to any level of management.
