Pros

I wanted to like the company. On paper they say the right things and are expanding rapidly.

Cons

However, they only like you if nothing goes wrong. I suffered with my mental health. Despite the company saying they wanted to help, everything I asked for was denied or ignored. Eventually things got to breaking point but instead of helping they put me on disciplinary. I ended up off sick with stress related complications and during that time the company decided to not give me my contacted sick pay, only statutory. They did this without warning or communication. If your face doesn't fit the clique of the team they will make your life hell. Never work for them. Even if you get a good team they will turn on you if you ever have issues.

Pros

If you have the connections, you can work at RSE. It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.

Cons

Company is not very diverse. It is also rife with nepotism and favouritism. Egotistical and bullying behaviour by management is condoned and approved of as long as it brings commercial benefits.

Pros

Some good people work there. Interesting projects. Good pay.

Cons

Full of nepotism, If you're from the black Isle and/or are related to management/directors, you'll be fast tracked for promotion, too cliquey. Sink or swim attitude. Multi disciplines all working on the same projects leads to blame gaming when something goes wrong, which it invariably does. Company has grown fast but workforce is stretched and corners are cut to boost profits. 'Yes sir, three bags full sir' is what the directors thrive on, but they try to teach new starts that the company works on servant leadership! It does not. Company looks ahead to try and 'innovate' and 'disrupt' the water sector too much, not focusing on the now and what projects/contracts they have got already.
