Pros

Watching this company destroy itself in real time has been nothing short of spectacular — if you’re into that sort of thing.

Cons

Let’s set the stage: RYNO didn’t merge with Blue Corona. It devoured it. Imagine a toddler with no motor skills slamming two incompatible Lego sets together and then crying when it doesn’t become a spaceship. That’s how the PE overlords at EverService “unified” two competing companies with fundamentally opposite systems, cultures, and values. Except this isn’t child’s play — it's a corporate demolition derby with real careers and livelihoods getting crushed under the wheels. The best part...RYNO leadership’s grand plan to actually handle the merger? There wasn’t one. The aftermath? Picture trying to build a Frankenstein jet mid-air with duct tape, no blueprints, and pilots who just Googled “how to fly a plane.” Leadership’s solution? Literally telling employees to “figure it out” and “build the plane as we fly it.” If that doesn’t fill you with confidence, congratulations — you’re sane. 7 months in, it's still a complete mess. Not “quirky merger chaos” — more like “Chernobyl after the sirens stopped.” Basic systems don’t work. Teams don’t communicate. Processes change weekly based on which VP suddenly decides to pay attention to the consequences of their decisions. There’s no direction and definitely no accountability — unless you’re a frontline employee, in which case: good luck and Godspeed. Meanwhile, clients are sprinting for the exits. Employee morale is lower than Blockbuster’s market cap. Entire teams are getting vaporized in cost-cutting initiatives. And the remaining employees? Mostly polishing resumes on company time. Competitors have figured this out and are openly poaching staff like it’s a clearance sale. “Now hiring: Former RYNO employees, 50% off market value! Comes with bonus trauma and unmatched tolerance for chaos!” And let’s talk leadership. While the executives play patty-cake during monthly company-wide meetings, congratulating themselves on “navigating the transition,” the rest of us sit slack-jawed with the dead-eyed stare of people who are wondering if RYNO will even exist next year. If you enjoy gaslighting disguised as corporate motivation, the founder calling half the company "nerds", whiplash from daily directional shifts, and wondering if your department will be laid off randomly during the week in favor of AI tools, you’ll fit right in.

Pros

Remote work, some good direct managers are doing their best in a very bad situation Still some good people who work hard to uplift others as best as we can

Cons

I have been with the company for over 2 years, and what it used to be and what it has become is extremely sad and disappointing. This was a thriving workplace that was pushing local SEO forward with excellent management and good people. Since the merger in January they have made all of the wrong decisions. They have already backtracked on decisions they made 3 months ago and done trainings for. Change is unfortunate and necessary for companies but the way it is all handled is disturbing. They seem to have no sense of direction at the top, and are making rash decisions that are not calculated or data driven. They recently fired a group of employees (around a dozen) who did not have the option to turn their cameras on or microphones. So they could not ask questions. Now the decisions management is making seem as though they will directly affect quality of work we do for our clients, making our output worse. I am typing this on a day where no one has access to email, teams or any other form of communication or our shared files. The IT team was trying to make some changes over a weekend and now on Monday none of the employees can communicate. This place is a mess. They also do time tracking to see how often you are online and what exactly you are doing. They did this without telling anyone and team members found out because other team members discovered this. They were so afraid to be honest about this because they know it is wrong. If you can't trust your team to do their job well and on time without tracking every little thing they do, that is a reflection of poor management. I would not be able to recommend this in good faith to a friend or even an enemy.

Pros

I worked with some incredible teammates

Cons

It’s extremely disheartening to see how quickly and significantly this company has declined in the last year. People are leaving in droves, often without another position lined up because RYNO was having such a negative impact on their mental health. Unfortunately, the issues at this company start at the top so every single person and team is impacted by the executive team’s irresponsible decision making. Top performing employees are being demoted, laid off, or are so overworked that they have to leave. The executive team severely mishandled the bonus plan for employees (you can’t roll out a Q1 bonus plan 5/6 of the way through a quarter) and then delayed paying people their appropriate bonuses for over 3 weeks. Members of leadership have consistently lied to, gaslit, or misled employees and then shut down any response or complaints. The website platform that client websites are built on breaks constantly and client-facing employees have to fall on the sword for the issues. Lastly, the reporting platform that RYNO/Blue Corona has been working on for two years fundamentally does not work. The data is always inaccurate but employees are told to say it’s accurate anyway. Other agencies have better reporting that actually works. Clients are catching onto the fact that RYNO is falling apart and are leaving as quickly as they can. All this to say, I have never seen a company go downhill so quickly and every single person I know is actively trying to get out of the company - I caution anyone applying for jobs here!
