Pros

—The boss and administrative staff are wonderful. Extremely accommodative and kind. —Time off requests are almost always approved with enough time, and being ill is always understood by management and accommodated. —This field of work makes you empathize a lot more with the clients you serve. —Lots of extra hours and shifts—management is typically generous about OT.

Cons

—The clientele is extremely difficult. Two or three clients have constant turnover due to frequently abusing staff members. —You will be paid at maximum $19.50/hour. —Dealing with the families of clientele can be more difficult than the clients themselves. Lots of history extremely traumatic and toxic family dynamics that directly impact the clients and staff. —The accounting staff member is one of the rudest individuals you will ever meet. Even the clients have heard about what a grouch this individual is.
