My previous employment has been Store Management at Lowes and Sleep Number, followed by a senior recruiter at a very large medical company. Rapid Hire reached out to offer me a position, with promises of structure, growth and the opportunity to help a company grow. It was promised to be structured and laid back environment, where they promote a Professional team atmosphere where we all will continue to learn and grow and all work hard together. It is none of those things. You get a week and a half of shadowing an employee, with zero hands on training. Once training is over, you're on your own. Within the first week, my trainer referred to another new employee as being the "R" word (special needs) and the COO continuously refers to the company's clients as "F'ers" (but uses the real F word) Upon talking to other new employees, they also felt as if they were lied to about he job and also recognize there was ZERO structure in most processes with the company. Now, it was my mistake to leave a good job I'm hopes of helping grow this company, and again they are fairly new and growing so maybe those issues will be sorted out in time. It is a 1099 job with zero benefits, no vacation pay, sick pay, 401k etc.....and they only pay $18/hour. This review is not to slam the company but at least provide insight and warn anyone before they join up.
