Pros

Compensation packages for early employees remain competitive post-acquisition. Being part of Google and possibility of “internal” transfer Some talented individual contributors doing their best despite the environment.

Cons

Leadership is largely clueless—both technically and managerially. The company still operates like a process-driven MicroLED shop trying to cobble together poor-quality demos for Google rather than building a real product roadmap. There is a constant, almost desperate push to impress customers without addressing fundamental technical gaps. Long-tenured employees remain primarily to hold on to their acquisition packages, not because they see a viable future.

Pros

Raxium was one of the best startups I had ever worked at. There is a lot of transparency and you feel like you belong to a community. The Founder, Rick Schneider was always willing to listen to ideas and encourage innovation.

Cons

Company was bought by Google and was integrated into the Spaceship. After that it tended to lose its individuality.

Pros

Love the culture and the can do attitude, even in COVID times. Everyone here is highly skilled and very down to earth, it is a humble culture where people are willing to take time to help explain and educate you on what they are trying to accomplish.

Cons

We have the usual growing pains of a start up.
